Papertrey Ink Day 7 Contest Post 2!!!

Okay, so for my second entry to the Papertrey Ink Day 7 contest, these are my Valentines Top Note Die Boxes that I will be giving out to my co-workers this year! I also sold a few sets on my etsy! I always loved the look of the Top note die box, but never knew how to put them together. I found this great tutorial here at the Sunset house. Super easy to follow and I was able to put them together in no time!

I followed the tutorial for the boxes, then used Stampin Up's Top Note die, and cut 2 each of the color cardstock and 1 of the patterned paper for each box. To layer the pattern paper on top of the cardstock top note die, cut around the perforated edge on the patterned paper, and this will allow you to make a perfect layer.

The tricky part was lining up the top note dies to match on top and bottom, but once you get the hang out it, they are easy and fast to mass produce! I added a scallop circle color cardstock die cut and a white circle die cut, then used the Tremendous treats stamp set to add the images and "be my valentine" sentiment. I added some shredded paper inside each box along with some chocolate hearts. You can fit a lot of stuff inside these little boxes! For christmas, I used them as jewelry boxes! I love making them!

Good luck everyone!
