Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! It sure went by fast! Just putting in a quick post before I head into work. :( I would give anything for some vacation right now! We spent the weekend mostly here at home. We are usually out and about running errands, but it was a bit windy on Saturday, did not feel much like going out anywhere!

Still need to finish some cleaning, but hopefully I will be able to get to that this weekend. I am also thinking about planning and dinner and movie night for my sisters and I because it has been forever since we have gotten together!

Finished this layout last night. I love this picture of Angel and the girls, it is from November '09 at the Las Cruces renaissance fair. I love seeing how creative other people are by going to arts and crafts fairs, they are the best!

I also made these cards inspired by Kristina Werner I love her work, she is so talented. The inspiration for these came from her "You're Totally Awesome" and "So very Happy Happy Happy for You" cards. Her's were so cute I had to try them on my own!

Hope everyone has a fantastic start to yet another week, have a great day!

My girls and I

We have been trying to clean up the house a bit today. I tried cleaning up the girls' toy room. I was able to find some toys that we can donate to Good Will. We are also trying to sort through all their winter/summer clothes. Whatever I think my sisters can't use I will donate also. You really never know how much junk you have until you actually start doing some real cleaning!

Took a little break to finish this layout and have some lunch with Angel. The girls are playing in the yard with some bubbles. I don't like to be photographed, so you will rarely see any pictures of me, but here is a few with the girls that I really like, they were taken in July last year.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

First entry!

I have wanted to create a blog for a while now. I created this one a while back, but am just barely getting around to actually using it. I wanted to be able to share some of the things that I love to do.

For those of you that do not know me, I come from a pretty big family. Including myself, there are 5 girls in my family, and now there are 9 nieces and only one boy. Yes, just one. One of my younger sisters finally broke the "girl spell". I have yet to meet my nephew, they all live in California. I can't wait to meet him though! So today I share a layout that I made for him, I am quite proud of it :)

Please forgive me, my camera is old and dying, so until I get a new one, enjoy blurry photos with bad lighting. Enjoy!
