90% of Real Crafters make Real Messes!

Kristina Werner just shared her messy craft table and challenged us to do the same. I have to admit that I don't care how messy my craft room is, as long as I know where I can find everything. Usually when I do start to clean my space up, I start getting new ideas and will start crafting in the middle of my cleaning time, thus, it never really gets clean. Last night I moved my Big Shot and some new dies from Papertry Ink into the living so I could crank some crafts out while I watched American Idol :)

So here it is in all its glory! This is currently what my craft space looks like, no cleaning up at all.

This is the table I usually use to craft on, but my supplies have overtaken any valuable space. This is actually a card table, so the soft, cushion-y top isn't the best to work on anyway.

This is my desk, where I usually stamp or use my Cricut. I like this space because it's close to the window where I can get lots of light and I have easy access to my clear stamp collection! Underneath I have stashed my kids are in boxes until I can get a good storage unit to keep all their work. I finally learned how to make those accordian paper circles/flowers/pinwheels, whatever you call them. So I have those unfinished scored pieces of paper everywhere!

Unfortunately this is a good chunk of the floor. I have to make a couple cards for birthdays, new baby boy, and a going away card for work. I spent forever looking for the right paper. I also had to pull out of colored cardstock because I could not find one single piece of red cardstock. I was frustrated and left the mess, lol. I was also looking for letters and rub-ons to use, thats why the drawers are scattered about.

In addition to papercrafting, my first love was jewelry making. I recently received an order from Fire Mountain Gems so I have been making some bracelets the last few days as well as making cards and such. So my beads are mixed in among all my papercrafting supplies! This is my bead storage. I keep all my beads, jewelry findings, and tools inside a closed cabinet storage to keep them away from light. I've had lots of these beads for about 10 years now and they are still in perfect condition!

So thats it, my messy piece of heaven. Thanks for stopping by!
