The Paper Variety Challenge 22!

Wow! Do you see how many entries went to this weeks' challenge over at the Paper Variety?! I can't believe how many people have submitted projects, they all are fantastic! This week, the challenge is:



So for my submission this week, I am sharing a 2 page layout I did of my 2nd daughter's first day in this world! I used a lot of scraps for this layout. I used kraft cardstock for the base and added some patterned papers that I am sad to say I have no idea where they are from! They were scraps that I've had for a while! I don't even remember where the 3D stickers are from either, they weren't in a package, just lying around! The stamp sets are from Basic Grey, I used a scallop punch for the edges and a white gel pen for the journaling. I added stitching with my Pixie Sewing Machine at the top and bottom of each page, hope you can see it!











I also wanted to share with you the goodie bag/boxes the girls and I made for their classes for Valentines Day! We used the Plantin' Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge and cut out the bag on page 80 at 5¾" each and the hearts at 3" each. I used a glue gun to adhere all the sides together inside of sticky tape, I didn't want them to fall apart on a bunch of kindergarten and 1st graders!









I used the Valentine's Paper from the Target Dollar Spot again for the front of each box and we used the Tiny Treat Valentine Set again from Papertrey ink. We added heart confetti, Sweetheart Box Candy, Lollipops, Valentines Mints, activity books, erasers, and pencils to each box. We closed off each box with curling ribbon. I am so glad the kids and teachers liked them, they took a while to make! This is the last of this years Valentine's Projects, I can't wait to do it all again next year!
