Papertrey Ink April 2013 Blog Hop

Good morning fellow crafters! I hope you all are having a fabulous week so far! I have tons of errands to run this morning before I head off to work in the afternoon, so I wanted to share with you real quick my project for this month's blog hop for Papertrey Ink over at Nichole's blog!

The challenge is to create a tilted project, so I sharing my super simple, colorful Thank you tag set using the Papertrey Ink Fillable Frames dies and the Framed Out #1 stamp set. The ink colors I used are from Stampin' Up: Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence, Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, and Taken with Teal. I created 12 tags, one of each die, and 2 of each color. The polka dots are stamped from My Favorite Things Lollipop Treats stamp set.

That's all for today, I am going to check out all the other amazing projects being submitted and then head out to start my errands. Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

Just Catching Up

Good evening fellow crafters, I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend and are now getting used to the time change! The spring time change always takes some time for me to get used to, especially right now since its 7:00pm here and it is still light outside! Anywho, its been nearly one month since I lasted posted, and I just wanted to share with you a few projects I've finished up this past month.

First up, some Easter projects. I made these Easter M&M candy sticks using Digital images from Pink Cat Studio. I used the 1x8" Clear bags and fit 25 plain chocolate M&M's inside each bag. These are super easy and super fast to put together.

I also made this Easter card set, using Kraft cardstock and some pastel cardstock paper from Recollections. The stamp set is from Inky Antics.

Next, I made a Thank You tag set using Stampin Up's A Fitting Occasion stamp set as well as their 2011-2013 In-color collection ink pads and cardstock. I paired them up with some simple Kraft cardstock.

Last, I made this butterfly "Just for You" mini card set using Kraft cardstock and Stampin' Ups Bright Colors inkpads. The butterfly is from Papertrey Ink's Pretty Peonies stamp set, and the script background stamp is from Recollections cling stamps.

That's all for now, hopefully I can post again soon, thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your week!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Contest Year of Flowers

Good evening fellow crafters, how are you all doing? I am doing great, again, haven't posted in a while! I've been super busy the last few weeks cranking out a ton of Valentine's Day cards from my Etsy shop. This week was the first week that I've had a break. I was able to come home from work everyday this week without the worry of having to create more cards! I spent some much needed time with my family, and now that I've had enough of that (heehee) I thought I would join in on today's contest over at Papertrey Ink. For this month's release, Nichole and the Design Team are celebrating PTI's 6th year Anniversary! They have so many contests going on right now, it's fantastic! I cannot wait to see all the new products that will be available this month on the 15th!

Today the contest is to create a project using one of PTI's Year of Flowers Stamp sets. When the sets first started coming out, I did not purchase them. However, I was super excited when they released the Year of Flowers Collection stamp set. I loved that I could get all the flower designs in one stamp set, even if the images were a bit smaller. I wanted to create an All Occasion tag set using the stamp set and the Fillable Frames Additions stamp sets. I inked up the frames and sentiments in Black dye ink, and then stamped all the flowers using different Stampin' Up ink colors. I added some white twine to finish them off.

Hopefully I will have a little bit more time tonight to create a few more projects for today's contest. Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Tags

Good morning fellow crafters, Happy Friday! I am so excited it is Friday. I usually work on Saturdays but I decided to take this weekend off to do some Tax free shopping for back to school with the family instead. I can't wait to get in some family time!

I wanted to share a quick post of these cute Christmas tags I put together yesterday using Papertrey Ink's Tremendous Treats: Christmas stamp set. I also used their Limitless layers 2½" circle die collection. I stamped each penguin and snowman in black pigment ink, then clear embossed them and used my Prismacolor markers to color them in. I added some glitter to the snowman and some rhinestones to each banner die cut, then put them all together. I cut out the images and used dimensionals to prop them up.

I have some more tags in red and green using the whole set, will post those later on today. Have a great day everyone, I'm headed off to work!

P.S. It is a beautiful day! It is nice and cloudy, I hope it stays like this all day!
