Just Catching Up

Good evening fellow crafters, I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend and are now getting used to the time change! The spring time change always takes some time for me to get used to, especially right now since its 7:00pm here and it is still light outside! Anywho, its been nearly one month since I lasted posted, and I just wanted to share with you a few projects I've finished up this past month.

First up, some Easter projects. I made these Easter M&M candy sticks using Digital images from Pink Cat Studio. I used the 1x8" Clear bags and fit 25 plain chocolate M&M's inside each bag. These are super easy and super fast to put together.

I also made this Easter card set, using Kraft cardstock and some pastel cardstock paper from Recollections. The stamp set is from Inky Antics.

Next, I made a Thank You tag set using Stampin Up's A Fitting Occasion stamp set as well as their 2011-2013 In-color collection ink pads and cardstock. I paired them up with some simple Kraft cardstock.

Last, I made this butterfly "Just for You" mini card set using Kraft cardstock and Stampin' Ups Bright Colors inkpads. The butterfly is from Papertrey Ink's Pretty Peonies stamp set, and the script background stamp is from Recollections cling stamps.

That's all for now, hopefully I can post again soon, thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your week!

Easter Treats

Hey everyone, how are you doing? Can you believe it is already spring?! The last few days the weather has been insane here, we had heavy winds, rain, hail, and snow all in one day! And now, we are back up to the 80 degree weather! We have been busy looking for a new house, we are prepared to move by the end of May, but so far, no luck in finding anything that absolutely "wows" me, so for the next few weeks, possibly months, I won't be able to create and post as much as I would like to!

I am however trying to keep up with my Etsy shop, but it is so hard to make new items often to provide etsy shoppers with a good variety of what I offer. My next vacation is at the end of May, so I am planning to spend that week creating like crazy to make as much as I can for my shop. Any suggestions?

Anywho, wanted to share a super quick post of a few Easter things I've made so far. I am absolutely in love with the M&M Candy stick treats, these things are so fun to make, and you can make them for any occasion! I've made almost 100 of these treats so far, I'm just down to making the tags for them. Here is a 2 sets I've made so far.

This first set I made using Taylored Expressions Totally Tags Spring Stamp set. This was my first TE Stamp set that I purchased, and I just love how clean and crisp the images stamped! I also ordered the matching tag die set with it, but I found it difficult to match up the images perfectly, even with the clear transparencies. So instead I just took the time to cut them out by hand. This took forever, but I love the way they turned out. This set sold in my etsy shop within 2 hours of me posting the listing! I've been trying to make another set, but the coloring and cutting out of each tag takes forever!

So I found some Etsy shops that sell clipart, and I purchased a couple of different file sets and tried to make the tags this was as well:

This was so much easier because all I had to do was print and punch out the tags, so much faster than hand-coloring and cutting out! I found this tags at MareeTrueLove's Etsy shop, and the best thing about it is she allows you to use her tags without a commercial license. All the images in her shop are adorable! I am a fan of etsy clipart shops now! I order my 1x8" clear bags from ClearBagsRUS etsy shop. It has been the only place so far that I can order 100 bags for a super low price, and I always receive my order within 2-3 days!

Well it's late and I feel like I am rambling! I hope to post more soon, thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Thursday! Long post!

Hey guys, how are you doing?! I am doing great, enjoying a beautiful morning here to myself while the girls are at school and my DH is at work! The last couple of days have been really windy and gross here in El Paso, but today, the wind has finally died down. It is nice and calm outside, so I took my little doggy for a walk and cleaned up the yard a bit, and now I figured that it's about time that I fill you in on some projects I have made over the last month. I have a lot to share, so there will be lots and lots of pictures, and it is all random! These are things I have made that I just didn't have time to share!

Before I share all the photos, I just wanted to say that I cannot believe what these tornadoes and storms have done in the south, it is terrible. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.

These are the gift bags and the birthday cards we made for Angel this year for his birthday. I used Angie's Gala Bag tutorial here to make the bags. In the video, she uses 8x8" sheets of paper to make her bag, but I also made one using 12x12" sheets of paper and scored and cut them the same.

I made 2 diaper cakes and 2 baby boy cards for 2 of my co-workers who both just had adorable little baby boys!

These are all the Easter projects from this year! These are bags I made to hold jelly beans for "Bunny Poop" and I used the bunny from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge. We handed these out to the students in my youngest daughter's class. They all thought it was just hilarious that they were eating bunny poop.

I had so much fun making these! I absolutely love the Mini Milk Carton die from Stampin' Up, but I don't actually own one. I found this brilliant tutorial here and I am going to love making more of these for Halloween and Christmas! These are filled with jelly beans, and I meant to add a little bunny to these as well, but I just didn't have time.

I made this Easter gift bag for a co-worker who is also my dear friend and the girls' after school babysitter. I made some jewelry for her and added an Easter card and Hersheys Nugget tin.

These are the Easter Hershey Nugget tins and cards I made for my co-workers and family this year.

Birthday cards for my nieces.

Goodbye card for a co-worker.

Mini note card sets, I just love these, I can have them available for any occasion!

Mini Thank You Notes!

These are mini lunchbox note cards I made using the Way to Go Kiddo stamp set from Papertrey Ink, they are so cute!

And last but no least, I made these little candy favors for a girls' birthday party, I plan to put them up on Etsy.

Whew! Thats it for now, I didn't realize how behind I was on posting until after I started this post! Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions on any of the projects, leave a comment and let me know. Until next time, enjoy the rest of your week!
